November 13, 2007 Contact: (804) 722-0141 East Coast Bowl Adds to North Squad Petersburg, VA - The East Coast Bowl Committee is pleased to announce three (3) student-athletes that have committed to playing in the 7th Annual East Coast Bowl. Matthew Mulligan, 6’5 250, is a tight end from University of Maine and also has the versatility to H-back. Mulligan, from West Enfield, Maine, has been key in the Black Bear passing game as he ranks third on the team in receptions. Bruno Dorismond, 6’4 280, is a defensive tackle also from the University of Maine and a member of the All-CAA 1st team this preseason. Dorismond, from New Canaan, CT, finished third on the team last season in tackles for loss (8) and proved to be an asset on the special teams as he blocked two field goals. Tyler McNitt, 6’4 230, is a wide receiver from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and his size/speed combination make him an interesting prospect to next level personnel. McNitt (Kearney, NE) projects, much like Mulligan, as a tight end or H-back on the next level, but he has had a solid year receiving for the Lopers finishing third in receptions and second in touchdowns. The East Coast Bowl game has quickly become the Thanksgiving tradition in Petersburg, VA and will be played Saturday, November 24th at 12 noon, The Committee will gather nominations from schools in just about all 50 states, which will be narrowed down to the top 75 Division I-FCS, II, III and NAIA athletes. Players will report to Petersburg the day before Thanksgiving and spend the holiday doing various community visits as well as practice sessions for NFL scouts. The game itself is set-up as a scholarship event, with all of the revenue generated going into a fund for a local high school senior who plans on attending a Division I-FCS, II or III college.
