PETERSBURG, VA – If you’re searching for somewhere to host your team banquet or birthday party look no further than the Petersburg Sports Complex.

The Petersburg Generals invite you to check out the many different options for birthday and/or team parties, as well as catered corporate outings or employee appreciation nights. The Sports Complex offers a picnic area, beach area, and new in 2008, a carnival midway to ensure total enjoyment while catching a Generals game. The Upper Deck in the Beer Garden area may also be rented out for group outings. This unique spot is ideal for a corporate night out. The Petersburg Generals are a member of the Coastal Plain League (CPL), the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 12th anniversary season, the CPL is the largest summer league in the country, featuring 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts.
