Pace University’s baseball team will be traveling down to Petersburg, VA once again in early March to take on St. Thomas Aquinas on the diamond of the Petersburg Sports Complex. Pace and St. Thomas Aquinas will play a doubleheader on Saturday March 1 beginning at 12 noon and one game on Sunday March 2, also at 12 noon. The Petersburg Generals have been the home for a few Pace University baseball players in previous summers. Pace University has been a pipeline for the Coastal Plain League by having some standout players in the league. A few of the Pace seniors have played on the Petersburg Generals home field a few summers back and Pace University’s Assistant Coach Trevor Brown was the Head Coach for the Petersburg Generals in the summer of 2002.
